Jennifer Lopez Wore This Exact Nail Shade for Her Wedding Mani

Jennifer Lopez—now Jennifer Lopez Affleck—surprised us all with a picture posted to her Instagram of her lying back in bed, looking blissfully happy, alongside the caption “Sadie! #iykyk [if you know, you know’].” A quick Google confirmed she was referencing Barbara Streisand’s song “Sadie, Sadie Married Lady” from Funny Girl, which made us do a double take.

Proudly displaying her left hand while holding her phone, her ring finger is looking a little heavier these days, courtesy of the white gold wedding band given to her by Ben Affleck who put a ring on it at Las Vegas’ Little White Chapel.

But alongside getting blinded by the rocks that she’s got (J.Lo was later spotted with her ginormo pale green diamond, square cut engagement ring layered alongside her silver wedding band), we couldn’t help but admire the mani she has going on as well.

Bucking the tradition we’ve seen in recent years for milky pink tones and Frenchies, Jen opted for a warm greige and luckily for us, her nail artist, Tom Bachik, was on hand to let us in on the exact shade he used to create her wedding manicure for the big day.

Tom posted the same Sunday morning picture, but with an extra crucial detail, adding at the bottom of his caption, “Colour used: @bioseaweedgel #SGAreYouShore? #bioseaweedgel.” The nail shade’s name, Are You Shore, is a touching tribute since Jen acknowledged in the newsletter she sent out to subscribers of On The JLo that the day had been a long time coming. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she said, so we can be pretty certain that the singer is as “shore” as can be.

As for the color, it’s described by the brand as a “nude sandy brown,” with a “solid finish.” Up close it looks like a sandy greige that appears purple-grey in some lights, and more of an earthy nude in others. The Bio Seaweed Gel colors are for professional-use only, but for something similar you can apply at home, Essie’s Sand Tropez nails the sandy nude tone, while OPI’s Berlin There Done That swerves more towards griege.
