8 Ways to Make Your Apple Watch More Private

If you feel it’s a little too easy for people to access your information on your Apple Watch, you’re not the only one. Fortunately, Apple knows this, which is why the company gave the Apple Watch a lot of different features to make it more secure.

These are some of the ways to make your Apple Watch more private.

1. Set Up a Passcode

When you start using your Apple Watch, you’ll be asked to create a passcode so only you can access it once it’s locked. If you haven’t set up your Apple Watch passcode, here’s how:

One of the best ways to make your Apple Watch more private is by locking it automatically once you stop wearing it. You do this with a feature called Wrist Detection, which should be enabled by default. This is how to turn it on.

Keep in mind that setting up and using your Medical ID is a great way to prepare your Apple Watch for emergencies. Hopefully, you’ll never have to share that information with anyone, but we suggest letting people access your Medical ID is better.

7. Make Your Apple Watch Go Back to the Clock Instantly

If you open an app on your Apple Watch and stop using it, it might stay open for you to access again. However, you can quickly go back to your clock, so no one can see the apps you use.
