Why You Should Like or Dislike Music on Apple Music
Streaming services use algorithms to personalize your experience by showing you more of what you like based on what you already like. On Apple Music, liking or disliking songs and playlists will help you listen to more music you’ll likely enjoy.
Additionally, it’s a great way to discover new songs on Apple Music that you otherwise wouldn’t listen to—all because you taught Apple Music’s algorithm what you like.
So, if you’ve found it hard to find songs you like or new music you actually enjoy, start liking your favorite songs.
On the other hand, disliking songs will also help Apple Music know it should suggest less of a specific sound, artist, genre, etc. It’s up to you to update this as your taste evolves.
Personalize Your Streaming Experience on Apple Music
